An interesting trip that began in 2011 at Isaac Diehl's house off of New Jersey St. in Lawrence, KS. Isaac and I began writing songs that December but recognized something was missing to round off the sound. I brought some of the recordings to my sister Kaylee who immediately showed interest in the tracks. Thus Absinthe Mind was born, unfortunately the album was slow to fruition due to geographical barriers and each one of us leading different lives. All three of us come from vastly different song writing backgrounds but with our mutual love and respect for Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska we were inspired to create this...
